Netflix Reveals First Look at Upcoming Series Starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II

Netflix has unveiled a preview of its upcoming series featuring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II. As part of its 2026 slate, Netflix continues to expand its diverse library, aiming to cater to a global audience with an array of new content. The streaming giant announced 110 new series and 44 movies set to release throughout the year.

The platform is also set to release final seasons of popular series like "The Witcher" and "Outer Banks," with the latter concluding with its fifth season.

In addition to series, Netflix is enhancing its movie offerings with 20 new English-language films. One notable adaptation is Greta Gerwig’s take on "Narnia," scheduled for a December 2026 release. The year will also see the premiere of "Peaky Blinders" the movie, set to hit the streaming platform on March 20, 2026.

Popular Series and New Seasons

Several beloved series are returning with new seasons in 2026. Fans of "Stranger Things" can look forward to an animated rendition of the series, while "Beef" Season 2 is slated for release on April 16. "Bridgerton" will continue its narrative with its fourth season, divided into two parts, premiering on January 29 and February 26, respectively. "Sweet Magnolias" will also continue with its fifth season, with the release date now announced.
